The purple shades of Viola Sorbet 'Delft' are ideal for planting up cheery spring baskets and window boxes for a patio display to be proud of. These compact, well branched plants have a neat uniform habit that is perfect for creating professional looking bedding displays. Height and spread: 20cm (8"). Supplied as plug tray plants.

Pot up plug plants and grow them on for transplanting into window boxes, containers and beds later on. Grow on in a cool frost free position. When fully rooted into their pots, gradually acclimatise viola plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to planting them in their final positions. Grow viola plants in sun or semi shade in well drained, rich, fertile soil.

Feed and water container grown plants regularly. Deadhead faded violet flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced and prevent them from self seeding.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.
