Caution: irritant to skin and eyes. Ranunculus bulbs look like claws. Plant them at a depth of 8cm (3") in spring with their claws pointing downwards. Choose a position in full sun on well drained soil. Alternatively grow Ranunculus in containers of loam based compost, such as John Innes No. 2, water well and position in a sunny site.Feed and water throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded flowers. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in late summer. Reduce watering in winter to provide Ranunculus with a dry dormant period.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
