The Marigold 'Fire and Ice Collection' offers an unusual combination of distinctive Marigold half hardy annual plants. The brilliant white Marigold 'Vanilla Ice' contrasts with the warm gold and orange colours of Marigold 'Taishan Mix' to create stunning colour for flowerbeds, borders and patio containers. When planted in full sunlight these plug plants will establish quickly and are easy to maintain. Marigolds flower continuously throughout the summer months. What's more, the citrus taste of Marigold flowers and leaves make them an equally impressive addition to the kitchen, for they can be added to salads, sandwiches and desserts in small quantities to create a unique flavour. Pot up marigold plants into 11cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting into borders, beds and patio containers later on.

When all risk of frost has passed, and plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Grow marigold plants in any well drained soil in full sun. Feed and water regularly. Deadhead faded marigold flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.
