The sculptural blooms of Allium schubertii create a fantastic, architectural accent when dotted throughout summer borders. An explosion of up to 200 small, pink florets create these magnificent, rounded flower heads that are quite simply a flower arrangers dream! If you can resist cutting them all, they will continue their display into autumn as magnificent seed heads. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 20cm (8"). Supplied as bulbs.

Allium bulbs should be planted in autumn, with the pointed end facing upwards, at a depth of approximately 3 times their height. Choose a sunny position in free draining soil.

Alliums thrive in dry sunny conditions so feeding and watering should not be necessary except on the driest of soils. Alliums will not repeat flower in the same year. Their faded spherical flower heads can be removed after flowering if necessary; however they will make a wonderful architectural display in the autumn if left intact.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
