Muscari paradoxum (Bellevalia paradoxum, Grape Hyacinth, Bellevalia pycnantha) A Grape Hyacinth with a difference! Muscari paradoxum bears conical spikes of blue blooms that are much darker than the commonly seen Muscari armeniacum. Prior to opening, the blooms are a deep shade of turquoise, giving an eye catching two-tone effect as the flowers gradually open.
