Crocosmia Mixed

Slender stems rise up and arch over as the blooms burst open in a riot of gold, orange and red. Tough and resilient, this hardy crocosmia mix makes a wonderful display of fiery colours that will multiply year after year. This easy to grow perennial is reliable and undemanding - perfect for low maintenance, sunny borders. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 35cm (10"). Size 5/6 bulbs supplied.

Cyclamen neapolitanum

Cyclamen hederifolium (Ivy-leaved Cyclamen)

Delicate, lightly scented flowers with reflexed petals appear in autumn; often before the attractive leaves have emerged. The heart shaped foliage that follows is marbled and patterned in shades of silver and green, often with a purple underside. A delightful groundcover plant for rockeries and woodland gardens where it will self seed to create a carpet of foliage from autumn to spring, before the foliage dies back in summer. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 15cm (6"). Tuber size: 13/15 cm.

Scilla mischtschenkoana 'Tubergeniana'

(Squill)

Delicate silvery blue flowers, with a darker blue stripe along each petal, provide a welcome splash of colour in early spring. Under plant silver birch trees with these springtime beauties for a breathtaking combination. Hardy and easy to grow, Scilla mischtschenkoana is ideal for the rockery and for naturalising in grass. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 5cm (2"). Bulb size: 7/8cm diameter.

Snowdrops in the Green

Galanthus nivalis

Drifts of single flowered snowdrops really lift the spirits on cold winter days! These understated beauties love to nestle in dappled shade at the base of trees, or for a particularly bold impact, try naturalising them in large informal areas of grass. Snowdrops in the green are ideal for spring planting. For autumn planting choose Snowdrop bulbs. Height: 10cm (4"). Bulb size: 4/5cm. Only cultivated stock used.

Muscari armeniacum

(Armenian Grape Hyacinth)

This vigorous Grape Hyacinth produces flower spikes topped with conical clusters of cobalt blue, bell shaped flowers. Once planted, Muscari armeniacum requires virtually no further attention and will happily look after itself. This delightful RHS AGM variety is ideal for creating carpets of spring colour that will return year after year throughout rockeries, woodlands and cottage garden borders. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 5cm (2").
