Dracunculus vulgaris (Dragon Arum, Arum dracunculus)The Dragon Arum makes a spectacular display in spring producing large maroon-purple spathes with the appearance of a Dragon’s tongue. With its distinctive and somewhat unpleasant smell, this unusual perennial is best positioned in a distant border. Dranunculus vulgaris makes a fascinating and exotic looking addition to woodland gardens and herbaceous borders. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 60cm (24"). Bulb size 15/20cm supplied.
