The golden goblet-shaped blooms of Crocus x luteus 'Stellaris' emerge from late February, delicately etched with distinctive bronze streaks. Records of this beautiful spring Crocus date back to the mid 16th century. and through cultivation since the early 1900’s many improvements have been made. This RHS Award of Garden Merit variety looks superb naturalized in lawns or planted in drifts throughout rockeries. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 5cm (2"). Bulb size 5/7cm.

I wish I had ordered these again for this spring. This time last year they were flowering. Yes, even will all that snow. Sheltered by the house they were stunning. When the sun shone through them they became golden orbs. Utterly Beautiful
