Probably the strongest fragrant Passion flower you will find! The exotic blooms of Passiflora Perfume Passion are produced in abundance throughout summer. The exquisite blooms are followed by inedible egg shaped, orange fruits. This easily trained, vigorous climber looks spectacular in patio containers, conservatories and greenhouses. In very mild areas, where temperatures remain above 5° (41°F), Perfume Passion may be grown in borders outside. Height: 400cm (12'). Supplied as 40mm plug plants.

conservatory, exotic garden, greenhouse, walls and fences

Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into their final positions. When plugs are well grown, transplant them into large patio containers that can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Alternatively, grow them in warm conservatories and greenhouses with a minimum temperature of 5°C (41°F). In very mild areas, Passiflora Perfume Passion can be planted in moist, well drained soil outdoors. Choose a sunny position that is protected from cold winds in winter. When growing Passion flower, be sure to provide the twining stems with an appropriate support such as a plant climbing frame or trellis.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Pruning Passion flowers is best undertaken in spring. Prune out the oldest stems, and reduce the remaining stems to restrict their vigorous growth to the available space.
We will do our best to ship your plants or bulbs to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product. We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. You will find the name of the variety printed on the top line of the address label on your package. 1. Exciting Passiflora Perfume Passion

    By Norman Coup 17-09-2011

This exciting Passiflora is the latest edition to my garden collection. First of all the plant arrived in first class condition. Of course this is what I have come to expect from Van Meuwen. Instructions were as usual precise and easy to follow. I have transplanted into a larger container and continually watch it for fear of frosts. Then of course I shall move it into my greenhouse untill I can establish it in the final growing space. I really cannot wait for the plant to eventually flower.
