Pot up plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. When plugs are fully rooted into their pots, transplant them into their final containers and baskets. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days.
For their final position choose a site in full sun. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded Carnation flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Move trailing carnations to a bright, frost free position for winter to ensure another wonderful display next year!
