Pot up plug plants into 11cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting into borders, beds and containers later on.
When all risk of frost has passed, and plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant Osteospermum in any well drained soil in full sun. In particularly cold areas, African Daises are best grown in a sheltered position. Feed and water regularly. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Weed between plants until they are established.
