This wonderful mix contains some of our best fragrant and frilly dianthus. This beautiful collection of cottage garden favourites produces sweetly scented flowers, all summer long. Forming neat cushions of slender grey green foliage, Pinks are attractive and quick to establish. They also make excellent cut flowers – just perfect for posies and vases. Asclepias syriaca 'Green Parrot'

(Common Milkweed, Virginian Silk, Silkweed)

A fantastic perennial for the garden, with spherical heads of lightly-fragrant, mauve-pink blooms in summer, which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. The flowers are followed by fascinating, softly spiny seed pods which give rise to the name ‘Green Parrot’! Also known as ‘Virginian Silk’, in the autumn the large seed pods split open to reveal seeds adorned with masses of silky white hairs. Asclepias syriaca is a fantastic, easy-to-grow plant for borders and wildlife gardens where it gives a long season of interest. The bright blooms also make an unusual and striking cut flower.
