Echinacea 'Eccentric'

(Coneflower)

Aptly named, this unusual new Echinacea produces giant, crested blooms which open a beautiful rich red colour with hints of purple, gradually changing to burnt orange and scarlet shades at maturity. This fascinating effect creates a range of colours at any one time on the same plant! The long-lasting blooms, which appear from July to September, are highly attractive to bees and butterflies and make a superb addition to cut flower arrangements. A robust, compact and resilient plant, Echinacea 'Eccentric' is ideal for planting in coastal gardens. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18"). Supplied as plug plants. More info
