Giant Fragrant CowslipPrimula florindae (Tibetan Cowslip) It's rather like an allium or a yellow agapanthus with its tall umbels of banana yellow blooms, this giant variety of cowslip makes a bright display, especially in shadier, damp areas of the garden, from July to September. Astilbe 'Music Series'Elegant, frothy plumes of flowers in a mixture of colours rise above handsome, finely cut foliage. Astilbe plants are excellent for difficult boggy areas of the garden and they grow well in full sun or partial shade.
