Asclepias syriaca 'Green Parrot'(Common Milkweed, Virginian Silk, Silkweed) A fantastic perennial for the garden, with spherical heads of lightly-fragrant, mauve-pink blooms in summer, which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. The flowers are followed by fascinating, softly spiny seed pods which give rise to the name ‘Green Parrot’! Also known as ‘Virginian Silk’, in the autumn the large seed pods split open to reveal seeds adorned with masses of silky white hairs. Foxglove 'Illumination Pink'Digitalis An exciting new foxglove, with parentage from the little known Isoplexis (Canary Island Foxglove) giving this variety its attractive tropical colouring.
