Helianthus maximiliani (Maximilian Sunflower) This unusual perennial sunflower produces more and more blooms as its stem gets higher. The 7cm (3") wide, golden yellow blooms of Helianthus maximiliani appear all the way up the stem in a tower of colour. Maximilian sunflowers have a sweet chocolate fragrance and make lovely cut flowers. Perfect for growing alongside hollyhocks at the back of cottage garden borders. Height: 200cm (79").
