Foxtail Lily 'Pinokkio'

Eremurus x isabellinus (Desert Candle)

Dark orange, star shaped flowers erupt from tall stems of this imposing herbaceous perennial. Foxtail Lily Pinokkio creates a dramatic focal point for the back of sunny borders! Partner it with lower growing perennials and grasses to hide the short lived, grey green foliage which dies back as the flowers begin to bloom. This long lived hardy perennial also makes a sensational cut flower! Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 90cm (35"). Size one bareroot plants supplied. More info

Buddleja ‘Foot Long'

(Buddleia, Butterfly Bush)

The days of Buddlejas taking over your garden are long gone, this new less invasive variety grows to just 3ft (1m.) and displays incredibly long lavender-blue blooms, some reaching more than a foot long, hence the name. It is ideal for a space in the border and, unusually, it cascades beautifully from a hanging basket - try it and see! Supplied as 40mm plugs. More info

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Avantgarde'

Enormous blooms, of up to 30cm diameter, cover this amazing new Hydrangea from August to October. The flower heads grow larger as the weeks pass, whilst the petals change colour from cream to deep pink, and finally light green. As with all Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, an acidic soil will result in blue flowers instead of pink. Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Avantgarde’® makes a superb feature plant for the garden or a large container. The giant blooms can even be cut and used in extravagant flower arrangements that will really impress. Supplied in a 10.5cm pot. Height and spread: 90cm (35").
