Despite their exotic appearance, these elegant Arum Lilies are hardy to -5C (23F), so you will only need to protect it from the very coldest weather. The sturdy stems are ideal for cutting for sophisticated flower arrangements. Grow Zantedeschia in moist borders, or the damp soil at the edge of ponds. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 60cm (24"). Bulb size 12/14cm.

Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Grow Arum Lilies in sunny borders in rich fertile, moist or boggy soil. When growing in containers, use a loam based compost such as John Innes No. 2. Alternatively, plant Zantedeschia as a marginal plant at the edge of ponds. Fill aquatic baskets with aquatic or heavy garden soil, and plant tubers just below the soil surface. Gently lower containers into the water and position them in water up to 30cm (12?) deep.
Feed and water border and container grown plants regularly and ensure that the soil is kept moist. Apply a deep mulch around the crown of border grown plants in autumn to protect them from hard frosts. Lift and divide clumps of white Arum Lily every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
