Gardenia jasminoides 'Kleim's Hardy'

(Cape Jasmine)

Enjoy the heavenly fragrance of gardenia flowers in your garden with the first hardy variety. This dwarf evergreen shrub produces exotic looking, single snow white flowers against a backdrop of dark glossy foliage. Gardenia plants are best planted in patio containers or in sheltered borders next to a path or doorway, where its distinctive gardenia perfume can be most appreciated. Height and spread: 90cm (36"). Truly spectacular half-hardy perennials, native to Madeira and commonly called the 'Madeira Cranesbill'. These stunning varieties of Geranium maderense bear white or pink flowers on multiple branching stems, making a really show-stopping summer display! Although flowers appear in the second year, the large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves make an interesting feature on their own, radiating from a stout central trunk. Phoenix canariensis (Canary Island Date Palm)

Architectural, broadly arching leaves consisting of many leaflets are borne gracefully from a stout columnar trunk. These mature plants are supplied at a height of 60-70cm (24-28") ready for an instant display in your garden! Phoenix canariensis is ideal for conservatories and perfect in patio containers which can be moved to a frost-free position over winter. In mild areas the Canary date palm may be grown in sheltered borders outdoors where it will tolerate temperatures down to -8°C (18°F). Height: 1.5m (5') when restricted in containers.
