Acacia dealbata

(Mimosa, Silver Wattle)

Evergreen fern-like foliage makes an attractive foil for clusters of bright yellow, fluffy ball shaped mimosa flowers. Its fragrant, nectar rich blooms are a big attraction for bees and other insects in spring. This half hardy evergreen makes an ideal specimen plant for containers, or sheltered sunny borders. An excellent focal point for a large conservatory. Height if unrestricted: 15m (49') Spread if unrestricted: 6m (19'). Supplied in 9cm pots or as 40mm plug plants.

Geranium maderense 'Collection'

(Giant Herb Robert, Madeira Cranesbill)

Truly spectacular half-hardy perennials, native to Madeira and commonly called the 'Madeira Cranesbill'. These stunning varieties of Geranium maderense bear white or pink flowers on multiple branching stems, making a really show-stopping summer display! Although flowers appear in the second year, the large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves make an interesting feature on their own, radiating from a stout central trunk. Geranium maderense plants benefit from some winter protection so are best grown in a conservatory or large patio container which can be moved to a frost-free location. Height: 150cm (59"). Abutilon 'Tricolour'

Beautiful bell-shaped flowers hang from the slender branches in a trio of different colours. From May to October the dark green palmate foliage of this long lived shrub is the perfect foil for its jewel-like blooms. Abutilon 'Tricolour' is ideal for conservatories and perfect in patio containers which can be moved to a frost free position in winter. In mild areas this half hardy shrub may even be grown in sheltered borders outdoors. Height: 1m (40"). Container grown with 3 plants per container.
