Mandevilla Collection

Mandevilla 'Sundaville Red', Mandevilla 'Sundaville Pink', Mandevilla 'Sundaville White' (Dipladenia)

Exotic, glowing blooms adorn these tropical evergreen climbers. Flowering throughout the summer, they make a wonderful addition to the patio where they add height and jewel-like colour. Mandevillas love a hot sunny position - ideal for the patio, greenhouse or conservatory. Grow them in large containers that can be moved indoors to offer winter protection. Height: 1.8m (6'). Acacia dealbata

Evergreen fern-like foliage makes an attractive foil for clusters of bright yellow, fluffy ball shaped mimosa flowers. Its fragrant, nectar rich blooms are a big attraction for bees and other insects in spring. This half hardy evergreen makes an ideal specimen plant for containers, or sheltered sunny borders. This eye-catching exotic Bromeliad makes an extraordinary sight in rockeries, alpine gardens and containers. Fascicularia forms spiky rosettes of linear, silver-green and scarlet red leaves with a central boss of astonishing metallic blue flowers. Surprisingly, this Chilean native is hardy to -10C (14F) when grown in very free draining soils, but will appreciate cloche protection during winter as it resents cold, wet conditions. Alternatively, grow Fascicularia bicolour in a pot that can be moved to a dry, frost free position over winter. Supplied in 13cm pot. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Geranium maderense 'Collection'

Truly spectacular half-hardy perennials, native to Madeira and commonly called the 'Madeira Cranesbill'. These stunning varieties of Geranium maderense bear white or pink flowers on multiple branching stems, making a really show-stopping summer display! Although flowers appear in the second year, the large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves make an interesting feature on their own, radiating from a stout central trunk. Found naturally in the wet savannahs and swamps of south-east USA this is one of the most popular carnivorous plants. The Venus Fly Trap lures its insect victims onto it’s ‘traps’ with the promise of nectar, before snapping shut around the insect, trapping it in a leafy prison.
