Trillium kurabayashii 'Ruby Realm'

An unusual and exotic-looking plant originating from the forest slopes of Oregon and northern California. This hardy perennial is a lovely addition to the spring garden; producing ruby-red flowers, each surrounded by three large, speckled leaves. Over the years Trillium kurabayashii 'Ruby Realm' will form a neat mound of flowers and foliage, making a striking addition to moist, shady borders and woodland gardens. Heuchera 'Ever-Colour Collection'

These vibrant Heucheras are fantastic for all-year-round interest in the garden thanks to their semi-evergreen foliage. To add to their considerable charm they also produce delicate flowers on tall wiry stems from May to July, which are particularly attractive to bees. Scardy Cat Plant

Coleus canina

Discourage feline intruders with the scented foliage of Coleus canina - Cats and Dogs hate the smell! Luckily it is not offensive to humans. The neat grey green leaves and small pale blue flowers make this an attractive addition to borders too. Fascicularia bicolour

This eye-catching exotic Bromeliad makes an extraordinary sight in rockeries, alpine gardens and containers. Fascicularia forms spiky rosettes of linear, silver-green and scarlet red leaves with a central boss of astonishing metallic blue flowers. Surprisingly, this Chilean native is hardy to -10C (14F) when grown in very free draining soils, but will appreciate cloche protection during winter as it resents cold, wet conditions. Alternatively, grow Fascicularia bicolour in a pot that can be moved to a dry, frost free position over winter. Supplied in 13cm pot. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Geranium maderense 'Collection'

Truly spectacular half-hardy perennials, native to Madeira and commonly called the 'Madeira Cranesbill'. These stunning varieties of Geranium maderense bear white or pink flowers on multiple branching stems, making a really show-stopping summer display! Although flowers appear in the second year, the large, exotic, deeply toothed leaves make an interesting feature on their own, radiating from a stout central trunk. Geranium maderense plants benefit from some winter protection so are best grown in a conservatory or large patio container which can be moved to a frost-free location. Height: 150cm (59"). Venus Fly Trap

Dionaea muscipula

Found naturally in the wet savannahs and swamps of south-east USA this is one of the most popular carnivorous plants. The Venus Fly Trap lures its insect victims onto it’s ‘traps’ with the promise of nectar, before snapping shut around the insect, trapping it in a leafy prison. This intriguing plant is best grown on a windowsill or in a cool greenhouse. Dionaea muscipula makes a fascinating talking point and a most interesting plant to grow. Supplied in 9cm pots. Heuchera 'Blondie'

Dense sprays of creamy flowers carried on red stems are borne above rich caramel coloured semi-evergreen leaves. In the past breeding has focused on leaf colour with little attention given to the flowers but Heuchera 'Blondie' has the best of both worlds! This compact miniature heuchera flowers from late spring through to midsummer, looking fabulous in rockeries and patio containers where it will attract bees to its delicate blooms.
