Pot up plugs in 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers or baskets. Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Choose a sunny or semi shaded site for their final position.

  2. Blooming marvellous

    By Stefan Smieszek 04-02-2013

These plants were delivered in fantastic condition, unfortunately slow to get going, not their fault but our poor summer of 2012. By august they were flourishing prolifically and with regular deadheading the beautiful blooms were never ending. Late october i moved them to a more sheltered position as hard frosts were upon us, the blooms just kept on coming and i have never had fuchias flowering well into december before! These plants will always be my first choice for my summer garden and i have over wintered them and will be looking forward to another captivating display this year. The colour and sizes of the blooms are magnificent and if you are thinking of buying fuchias then look no further because these beaut's will fill your garden planters / baskets with unrivalled summer into early winter joy
