Geranium 'Blue Sybil' (Trailing)

Pelargonium, Ivy-leaved Geranium, Ivy-leaved Pelargonium

Half-hardy Perennial

Geranium 'Blue Sybil' produces beautiful, purple-blue flowers which appear in their bud form to resemble roses, then they group together in charming arrays of posies. This distinctive bloom makes trailing 'rosebud' Geraniums an ideal plant for patio containers, hanging baskets and window boxes. Ivy-leaf Pelargoniums typically flower in July, August, September and October, adding a wonderful and reliable splash of colour to the garden all summer long. Additionally, if protected from frost in a greenhouse, these half hardy perennials can survive to flourish again in years to come. Height and spread: 45cm (18").

Plug plants are perfect for planting directly into Flower Pouches™. For baskets and containers, pot up plugs into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant geranium plants into baskets and containers in a sunny or semi shaded position.
Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded geranium flowers to encourage more spectacular blooms to be produced.
