Hanging Basket Collection (Summer)

For an outstanding display, plugs are best potted up and grown on in warm frost free conditions. When plants are well grown, transplant them into a hanging basket filled with good quality compost. Water retaining gel and slow release fertiliser can be incorporated into the compost prior to planting. Water well to settle the compost around the roots of the plant. Thereafter water sparingly until plants are fully rooted in.

When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position. Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to ensure an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.

We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. Please ensure that you open the packaging immediately and carefully read through the instruction leaflet provided. For greatest success, please pot on or plant out as soon as possible, following the cultural instructions enclosed with your order.
