Asclepias syriaca 'Green Parrot'(Common Milkweed, Virginian Silk, Silkweed) A fantastic perennial for the garden, with spherical heads of lightly-fragrant, mauve-pink blooms in summer, which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. The flowers are followed by fascinating, softly spiny seed pods which give rise to the name ‘Green Parrot’!
