Pot up plugs in 9m pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers or baskets. Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.
Grow fuchsia plants in a sunny or semi shaded site. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
We will do our best to ship your plants or bulbs to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product. fuchsia fairy blue
By TREVOR STAMMERS 21-01-2014
I had loads of comments last year about my fairy blue fuchsias, I filled the top of a basket with them at the front of the house and planted several in the garden. They bloomed their socks of all year right until November. Yes. well into November when all other fuchsias had finished ! They are an extremely pretty blue and so easy to grow. I cannot reccomend these enough.
