Clematis Summer and Winter flowering Collection

Flowering through June to September, 'Summer Beauty' Clematis repens (The Twinkle Bell Clematis) produces multitudes of nodding, waxy yellow droplet blooms that flower among its rich foliage. Reaching 2m (6ft) high, it requires minimal pruning and its long stems are ideal for training through its winter flowering partner or a trellis or pergola. Clematis urophylla 'Winter Beauty' doubles the flowering season with a winter wonderland of colour. This rarely seen, winter flowering climber produces stunning, creamy – white, bell shaped flowers that adorn its luscious rich green foliage from December to February. Reaching between 4 and 5 meters (13-16ft) high it requires hardly any pruning. Planted side by side and twined as one, this superb double Clematis collection offers two seasons of colour and year round pleasure. Both Clematis supplied in 7cm pots.

Phoenix Palm

Phoenix canariensis (Canary Island Date Palm)

For instant impact on your patio and a touch of the exotic, try the Canary Island date palm, winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Architectural, broadly arching leaves consisting of many leaflets are borne gracefully from a stout columnar trunk. These mature plants are supplied at a height of 60-70cm (24-28") ready for an instant display in your garden! Phoenix canariensis is ideal for conservatories and perfect in patio containers which can be moved to a frost-free position over winter. In mild areas the Canary date palm may be grown in sheltered borders outdoors where it will tolerate temperatures down to -8°C (18°F). Height: 1.5m (5') when restricted in containers. If grown naturally in borders this palm can reach 5m (16') height and 3m (10') spread. Supplied in a 1 litre pot. Ceramic pot not included. More info

Clematis repens 'Summer Beauty'

A rarely seen evergreen clematis, producing multitudes of nodding, waxy yellow blooms throughout summer. This highly sought after variety has unusual non-clinging stems. Tie them to supports to achieve a climbing effect, or allow them to spill from hanging baskets and patio containers. In borders it will happily scramble among mature shrubs, if provided with some winter protection and shelter from cold winds. Clematis repens 'Summer Beauty' requires minimal pruning making it particularly easy to maintain. Height: 2m (79"). Spread: 1m (39"). Pruning group: 1
