Strawberry Plants


Strawberries are the quintessential summer fruit and they're so easy to grow. If garden space is limited try growing strawberries in patio containers, window boxes or hanging baskets! With a variety of cropping times you can harvest these delicious sweet fruits from early summer right through to autumn. There's nothing quite like the flavour of a ripe home-grown strawberry - they're much tastier and cheaper than supermarket strawberries! Strawberry 'Snow White'

Fragaria x ananassa

This unique and highly unusual fruit is like a strawberry in reverse, with snow white flesh (hence the name) and bright red pips. It has a mouthwatering flavour, similar to pineapple, and an intense fragrance which makes it perfect to eat fresh or even as part of a wonderful dessert. Planting in Autumn is ideal as the soil is still warm and will allow the plants to establish nicely and will help to give you bumper crops next year. Strawberry 'Snow White' is winter hardy and easy to grow. Bareroot plants supplied.

Strawberry 'Christine' (Misted Tip) (Early Season)

Fragaria x ananassa

Pick your own large, deliciously sweet strawberries from the beginning of June! These superb strawberry plants show good resistance to mildew and other diseases making Strawberry ‘Christine’ one of the best of the early varieties. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 30cm (12").

‘Misted tip’ plants are cell raised, enabling them to establish quicker than traditional bare root strawberry plants.
