Pot up plugs into 9cm pots and grow them on in cool frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside in their final positions. To grow Honeyberry plants on the patio, transplant them into containers of well drained, soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. In borders, grow Honeyberry in any moist well drained soil in full sun. Plant Honeyberries close to one another to improve pollination and increase your crop of tasty fruits.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Container grown plants will need repotting into successively larger pots as they increase in size. Berries can be harvested from June.
We will do our best to ship your plants or bulbs to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product. We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. You will find the name of the variety printed on the top line of the address label on your package. Please ensure that you open the packaging immediately and carefully read through the instruction leaflet provided. For greatest success, please pot on or plant out as soon as possible, following the cultural instructions enclosed with your order.
