- KALMIA RUBRA
- Flowering time: spring to mid summer
- Height: 2ft (60cm); spread 60in (1.5m)
- Aftercare: Fully hardy. Grow in humus rich, acid soil in partial shade or sun. Where soils remain reliably moist, mulch annually in spring with leaf mould or pine needles.
- KIWI
- Aftercare:Plant against a fence or trellis, so the plant can be trained, and the branches tied to the support. The soil should have manure added so the plant is well enriched. Do not allow the soil to become water logged. An application of bonemeal fertiliser should be added in March each year and again after flowering.
- KOELERIA GLAUCA
- Height: 16in (40cm); spread 12in (30cm)
- Aftercare: Fully hardy. Grow in medium to light, not too fertile, well drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. Kolerias thrive in alkaline and shallow, chalky soil. Cut back flowering stems either before seeding or in autumn.
