Venus Fly TrapDionaea muscipula Found naturally in the wet savannahs and swamps of south-east USA this is one of the most popular carnivorous plants. The Venus Fly Trap lures its insect victims onto it’s ‘traps’ with the promise of nectar, before snapping shut around the insect, trapping it in a leafy prison. Hypericum calycinum(St John's Wort, Rose of Sharon, Aaron's Beard, Daffodil Shrub) This low growing semi-evergreen shrub is perfect for low maintenance areas of the garden. Muscari paradoxum(Bellevalia paradoxum, Grape Hyacinth, Bellevalia pycnantha) A Grape Hyacinth with a difference! Muscari paradoxum bears conical spikes of blue blooms that are much darker than the commonly seen Muscari armeniacum.
