How to Grow
Begonia - Apricots & Lemons
- Tubers
- Ideal for containers and baskets.
- Plant tubers of Begonia Apricots and Lemons in small pots or trays in moist compost from February to March.
- Grow on in a warm, frost free position.
- Transplant into final containers when plants are well grown.
- Plug Plants
- Ideal for flower pouches.
- Plant plugs directly into pouches or grow them on for transplanting into baskets and containers.
- Grow on in a warm frost free position.
- Aftercare
- When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Begonia Apricots & Lemons to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period.
- Feed and water plants frequently.
- Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
- When stems blacken with first autumn frost, remove tubers from their containers. Wash and dry the tubers then store over winter in peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position.
- Replant tubers of Begonia Apricots & Lemons in Feb/ March for another outstanding display!
