How to Grow
Hollyhock

Repot hollyhock plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions.
When plants are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days, and transplant into sunny borders.
Grow hollyhocks in a sheltered position away from strong winds. Plant in full sun, on fertile, well drained soil.
Aftercare
Feed and water regularly until plants are established.
Support the tall hollyhock flower stems with garden canes if necessary.
In autumn, remove old foliage and faded flower stems, and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant.
