Early Dutch Honeysuckle – Well loved for its sweet-scented flowers in May and June. Height: 7m (22’)

Clematis Montana Elizabeth – Large purple flushed mid-green leaves and strongly scented pale pink flowers in May and June. Height: 10m (32’).

Jasmine Officinale - Fragrant white flowers are produced from June until October. The sweet scent is especially strong in the evenings. Height: 12m (40’)

Honeysuckle Gold Flame – Much prized for its fragrant bright orange-yellow flowers which are borne in profusion from May until September. Height: 5m (15’)

How to Grow
Climber Collection - Fragrant

Grow fragrant climbers in sunny or semi shaded sites in any moist, well drained soil.

Prior to planting add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil.

Aftercare

Be sure to provide the twining stems with an appropriate support, such as trellis or wires attached to fences and pergolas.

Feed and water regularly until fully established.

In autumn or spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plants.

Prune fragrant climbers in summer, immediately after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems entirely. The remaining stems can then be pruned back to a pair of healthy buds.
