Japanese False Bindweed.

This tender climber, related to Convolvulus (Morning Glory), makes an unusual feature for patio containers. Its plush, double pink flowers are produced throughout summer on vigorous twining stems. Calystegia can be invasive if planted in the ground, so it is best grown in patio containers which can be moved indoors for winter protection. A refined and popular specimen shrub, prized for its glossy evergreen foliage and profusion of beautiful cup shaped flowers in spring. Its slow growth makes Camellia ideal for growing in containers, and once established it is undemanding, requiring little maintenance. The elegant Camellia blooms also make charming cut flowers. Fully double, pale blue flowers smother the foliage of this delightful Campanula.
