Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberspinne' (Maiden Grass, Eulalia) A big impact in summer borders for very little effort! From late summer, this low maintenance perennial grass produces spidery panicles of bronze tipped flower-spikes that slowly fade to silver as they mature. The tall flower stems rise magnificently above clumps of arching, green foliage. The stately flower spikes are most numerous following a long hot summer, and make a superb addition to cut flower arrangements. Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberspinne' is lower growing than many of the species, but equally impressive. Height: 120cm (47"). Spread: 50cm (20"). Supplied in 9cm pots.
