Hypericum calycinum

This low growing semi-evergreen shrub is perfect for low maintenance areas of the garden. Once established, Hypericum calycinum grows virtually anywhere from fertile, moist soil to poor, dry conditions - it even thrives in deep shade! The large, daffodil-yellow flowers are decorated with a central powder puff of yellow anthers from summer to autumn. Also known as the Rose of Sharon, this versatile shrub makes excellent spreading ground cover for borders and woodland areas, and can even be trimmed into a beautiful low hedge. Supplied in 9cm pot. Height and spread: 60cm (24").

Fuchsia 'Willow Tinsdale'

Unique lime green and gold leaves adorn the graceful stems of this hardy Fuchsia. The pendent flowers, with bright purple corollas and rose pink sepals, are produced in profusion from summer through to autumn. The spreading habit of Fuchsia 'Willow Tinsdale' makes it ideal for groundcover, where it acts as a quick and easy weed suppressant; or try it trailing elegantly out of patio containers! Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis

(Christmas Box, Sweet box)

The white spidery flowers have a fragrance so heady that it will stop you in your tracks. The sweet, honey scented winter blooms are followed by glossy black berries. This exceptional dwarf evergreen shrub is so versatile it will grow in almost any soil or situation - even those impossible dry shaded spots! A wonderful compact plant for woodland ground cover, or low informal hedges. You can even cut a few stems for a vase indoors! Grows to 60cm (24"). Supplied in 9cm pot.
