Acca sellowiana(Pineapple Guava, Feijoa) An exotic, evergreen shrub hailing from South America; Pineapple Guava produces pretty red and white flowers with striking red stamens, followed by edible green fruits in long hot summers or under glass. Berberis x lologensis 'Apricot Queen'(Barberry) A delightful strong-growing shrub becoming smothered in bright orange blooms in late spring, and flowering sporadically throughout the summer. Spiny evergreen leaves adorn the elegant arching shoots, making Berberis 'Apricot Queen' a particularly valuable shrub in the winter garden.
