Ajuga Feathered Friends™ 'Petite Parakeet' is an exciting new variety boasting unique golden foliage that develops orange central veins and leaf edges as it matures, providing a striking year-round display. The colourful foliage quickly forms a dense mat and combines beautifully with the stout spikes of deep lavender blue flowers in late spring and summer. This handsome bugle is ideal for ground cover, underplanting trees and shrubs, woodland gardens and adding to rockeries and mixed containers. Low-maintenance and happy to grow almost anywhere, the Feathered Friends™ series comprises hardy and versatile evergreen bugles that provide year-round colour and interest. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread: 45cm (18in).

1 x 9cm potted plant (KF0235)

Grow Bugle plants into any moist, well-drained soil. Plants will perform best in partial shade, as full sun can cause leaf scorch. Ajuga will even tolerate poor soils in full shade. Makes excellent ground cover for shady corners.
Ajuga plants are virtually maintenance-free, and do not required any pruning. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps every three years to maintain their vigour.
