Alocasia 'Red Secret'

Place your Alocasia in a bright spot with plenty of natural light but not in direct sunlight. This rainforest plant enjoys humidity, so a bathroom or kitchen windowsill is ideal. Avoid draughts and rotate occasionally to ensure even growth. Water regularly to keep the compost moist at all times but not saturated; the plant will also enjoy being misted. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant feed. Reduce watering in winter, allowing the top of the compost to mostly dry out. Trim off faded leaves from the base.
