The Alstroemeria Valley series has been bred for exceptionally large flowers on compact plants that are ideal for containers as well as the front of borders. Providing a dazzling display continuously from June right through to the first frosts, the blooms also make excellent and long-lasting cut flowers. These hardworking hardy perennials are sure to inject an exotic feel into any garden!

Alstroemeria Valley Duo comprises jumbo plug plants of the following varieties:

Alstroemeria ‘Malaga Valley’ – bright pink blooms with splashes of yellow and dark streaks. Height and spread: 38cm (15").
Alstroemeria ‘Beach Valley’ – delicately coloured blooms in cool creamy white with a soft pink blush and dark streaks. Height and spread: 45cm (18").

Pot up Alstroemeria plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors once the risk of frost has passed. Alstroemerias perform best in a sunny, sheltered spot in a rich, moist but free-draining soil that contains lots of organic matter. A fortnightly feed with a high-potassium feed such as tomato food will encourage prolific blooming, while removing each stem after the flowers have faded will prolong the flowering season. Though most alstromerias are hardy, they will benefit from an autumn mulch if in a border, or if in a container, being moved to a frost-free spot over winter.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
