Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

Anemone hupehensis 'Pocahontas' is a truly showstopping double-flowered variety! Waves of pretty pink, gently cupped petals form ravishing rosettes around a central tuft of golden stamens for a sensational display. This Windflower has a shorter habit than most, so is ideal taking a front row position in borders, where it will bloom freely from July to October. Japanese Anemone 'Pocahontas' is a hardy perennial that is easy to grow and provides a valuable source of late season nectar for pollinating insects. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant your Anemone plants out on moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Plants are generally unfussy and, once established, will last for years, although try to avoid excessive winter wet.
Cut back anemone flowers as they fade. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of anemones in spring or autumn. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
