The impressive Snapdragon brings its colour from June through to September, attracting the butterflies and bees with its gorgeous nectar filled blooms. They are ideal for borders, pots and beds so are perfect for any sized garden. Antirrhinum ‘Dazzling Lips Pink’ has an upright habit and a subtle delicate scent, making it a wonderful plant for cut flowers too. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Pot up snapdragon plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Pinch out growing tips while the plants are still small to encourage bushier growth. Once they are well grown, acclimatise antirrhinum plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on fertile, free draining soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Antirrhinums particularly dislike wet ground, so improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting.

Feed and water regularly until snapdragons are fully established. Deadhead faded antirrhinum flowers frequently throughout summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.
