Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Argyranthemum 'Aramis Fire' is a great patio plant, being very easy to grow and providing wonderful rewards. It is a surprising perennial which is often grown as an annual plant, particularly loved for its colour-changing blooms! The daisy-shaped large flowers seem to change each day, blending from pale pink through to cerise-red. Flowering from May to October the Marguerite family of flowers are native to the Canary Islands and they certainly bring a touch of the exotic to British gardens. Particularly suitable in pots and containers. Height and spread: 40cm (16"). Supplied as plug plants.

Flowering Months
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded Marguerite flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, move container-grown Argyranthemum to bright frost free conditions and reduce watering. In spring, prune back stems to within an inch of the previous years growth. Border grown plants are unlikely to survive the winter outside in all but the mildest areas.
Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips of the stems to encourage bushier, more compact growth. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Marguerite Daisy plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant them out in well drained soil in sunny borders. Alternatively, grow in patio containers using good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2.
