Argyranthemum 'GranDaisy Gold' is an innovative cross between Argyranthemum and Chrysanthemum coronarium. The result is this stunning daisy that brings together the best traits of both parents creating compact and bushy plants that are covered in blooms throughout the summer months. With weatherproof blooms that resist hot and cold weather these are perfect for withstanding changeable British weather. Flowering from early in the season you will see the bright yellow petals surround a central honey-brown eye. A great addition for patio pots, brightening balconies or dotting in sunny borders. 1 x 2 litre potted argyranthemum plant (kb9870)

When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise argyranthemum plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant them out in well drained soil in sunny borders. Alternatively, grow Argyranthemum in patio containers using good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded Argyranthemum flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, move container-grown plants to a bright frost free position and reduce watering. In spring, prune back stems to within an inch of the previous year’s growth. Border grown plants are unlikely to survive the winter outside in all but the mildest areas.
