This stunning herbaceous perennial produces brilliant, double purple, daisy-like flowers with complimentary yellow centres. Becoming absolutely smothered with blooms from late summer through to mid-autumn, Aster novi-belgii 'Karminkuppel' is a wonderful addition to billowing cottage garden borders, wildlife gardens and prairie style planting where the flowers blend well with golden autumn grasses. Michaelmas daisies are not only valuable for their burst of late season colour; their pollen and nectar-rich blooms also attract bees and butterflies. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 50cm (20").
