Versatile and easy to grow, these top-performing hardy perennials are perfect for bedding, edging, patio pots, baskets and window boxes – or just adding a splash of colour to borders. Our easy plug plants are simple and fuss-free, giving you a wonderfully vibrant and long-lasting display in no time!

Bedding Winter Collection contains 72 plug plants of the following varieties:

• Pansy Matrix Mixed (24 plugs) – a vibrant blend specially bred for excellent branching habit and super-sized flowers. The compact, sturdy flower stems hold their heads high whatever the weather, ensuring your garden is filled with colour throughout winter and spring. Height: 21-30cm (8-12"). Spread: 10-20cm (4-8").
• Pansy Cool Wave Raspberry (12 plugs) – superb trailing pansies in rich, vivid, velvety violet. These vigorous hardy perennials grow fast and can flower at any time of year – perfect for year-round displays in baskets and containers. Height: 11-20cm (4-8"). Spread: 21-30cm (8-12").
• Pansy Cool Wave Mixed (6 plugs) – superb trailing pansies in a beautiful mix of blues, purples, yellows and whites. These hardy perennials grow fast and flower from November right through to March – perfect for long-lasting displays in baskets and containers. Height: 11-20cm (4-8"). Spread: 21-30cm (8-12").
• Pansy Universal (Super Mix) (6 plugs) – a compact variety with a wide range of bold straight- and bi-coloured large flowers. Can flower at any time of year – perfect for year-round displays. Height & Spread: 21-30cm (8-12").
• Pansy Waterfall Mix (6 plugs) – our best hanging basket pansy yet! Large, showy, long-lasting and sweetly scented flowers on compact, vigorous plants with a cascading habit. Standing up to winter weather, this tough top performer bursts into bloom in February for over three months of colour and scent. Height and spread: 21-30cm (8-12").
• Polyanthus Crescendo Mix (Carousel Mix) (6 plugs) – one of the best polyanthus. Large, long-lasting, scented blooms in an array of brilliant colours are produced prolifically on strong stems. With excellent disease resistance and winter hardiness, you can expect repeat performances every year. Height and spread: 21-30cm (8-12").
• Polyanthus Firecracker (6 plugs) – an eye-catching new polyanthus bearing yellow flowers with a fiery orange-red edge. These long-lasting blooms are borne on strong, stout stems above rosettes of semi-evergreen foliage. Height and spread: 21-30cm (8-12").

Culinary note: the flowers of pansies and polyanthus are edible, and can be added straight to salads for an extra boost of colour or crystallised and used to decorate cakes and desserts.
