1 packet (500 Canterbury Bells seeds) (TKA53941)

  • Sprinkle the seed on the surface of good free draining compost.
  • Seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 15-20°C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 10-12 days.
  • Do not exclude daylight as this helps germination.
  • Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, into pots.
  • Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 38cm (15in) apart. Plants will flower the following year.
  • Can also be sown outdoors 3mm (1/8in) deep in rows 30cm (12 in) apart.
