The glossy foliage of Caryopteris 'Petit Bleu' produces intense, blue flowers in August and September, giving your garden a much needed, late summer splash of colour. This hardy shrub is attractive not only to humans, but also to pollinators such as bees, for its blooms are rich in nectar. Consequently, the plant is an ideal addition to wildlife gardens. Specifically, the compact, branching habit of the Caryopteris 'Petit Bleu' makes it suitable for inclusion in sunny borders and flowerbeds. Wherever you choose to place this impressive cultivar, it is sure to become a dramatic and eye-catching garden feature. Height: 60cm (2'). Spread: 90cm (3').

Grow Caryopteris in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. In cold areas Caryopteris will apprectiate the shelter of a warm, sunny wall.
Cut back the previous year's flowered stems to within 2 or 3 buds of the woody framework each spring.
